Black Lake. My Four Day Weekend.

it was actually pretty fun; i didn't really do anything though. i babysat the kids at the nursery for basically all of monday and sunday evening was spent walking around in the shallow end of the water. my arms got so sore from carrying the little kids back and forth because they were too tired to walk and it was really hot out. funny, because in the morning it was freezing.

the food was good. i wish i had more cherry coke... ;)

Dandelion Seeds

today is so gorgeous. went outside and sat on the pavement that was on the way to inglemoor. i took some pictures and made a heart out of these leaves... i should set them to a slideshow. the track meet was going on over at the high school, and when i was there around an hour ago, this little boy went and hid in the honeybucket because he didn't like the gunshot that started the race ;). super cute.
i picked at the gravel to get a rock to hold down my leaf heart... ended up just looking for an already loose rock instead. flicked tiny bugs and spiders crawling over my notebook. and my notebook paper. and my pencils. and my bob the tomato and larry the cucumber eraser. :), love.

my dad had been worried that i'd be kidnapped. i told him that really, a cell phone would mean we were just a phone call away. he said that if i were being kidnapped, i wouldn't have time to call him. i told him i'd put him on speed dial 1. he still didn't believe me. i walked home. safely. i think i was out there for almost an hour. sweetheart.

my favorite part?

i spread dandelion seeds :)

And I Still Don't Know

some guy called me monday and i have no idea who because i was in the bathroom. conveniently huh, jennifer? my brother picked up and told me whoever it was said something like, "is jennifer there?" and when he said no, "oh okay, i'll call back later".

what i focused on was the "i'll call back later".

and i still don't know.

sorry it's been like forever! it's been the type of week where you think it's going by so slow but really it's already almost friday. also, for every day of the week i've thought it was friday. time passes by so fast once you get past your sixth birthday. it's like one night i looked back on my day and realized it went by finally without me noticing. it's sort of a good feeling.
i need you guys to do something for me: vote for parachute's song she is love on vh1! i love them and the coolest thing is that it's my friend's cousin's band! another fun thing is that the music video hyperlinked - click it, you'll love it - isn't actually the official video! if you read the description, they say that their friend shot it for them - i know, it's so professional you wouldn't have noticed would you? i didn't! but anyway, they're going to be on the vh1 countdown!

Just Some Blog Entry

just spent an hour and a half on the phone when i really should've been doing homework. haha i suck i'm going to be up until 3 finishing my project tomorrow. SHOULDN'T BE BLOGGING!
photo: i love those things. the little notifications that pop up and ding when my status changes. i don't care if it's just an email i'm getting but if it notifies me that it's changing my status when i press play on the media player (it should really do that every time i press play and a song isn't up there already, but with the new messenger i downloaded like, a month ago, it doesn't do that... sad!) i love it. haha weird right? i think i just love the line "changing your personal message".
yeah i think i should get to my homework now. before i drive you all insane. oh and yes i'm going to do a knowing review soon. still busy, at least i got the that's what she said! entry done ;]

That's What She Said!

haha i know, finally it's up. ahh the sun is so spazztic today. i know that's probably not a word.

it's like everywhere now. sometimes i blurt it out subconsciously if someone says something that would just fit. you know? it's really sad actually, because i never used to until recently people started going around and yelling it like it's their last day on the world and they want people to know they're not major nerds who have no life. which means they have to run around saying "that's what she said!" to almost everything. because almost everything fits. sad right? that's what she said! see?
but don't be like... an idiot about it. don't go around saying, "eww you guys are so sick" whenever someone yells it. if anything, just shrug and not comment. but don't say the person is sick minded because it's a joke and yes it's not something you'd say in front of the disciplinary principal but if you ever hear it, get the point of it, teasingly slap the person - this usually works because it's usually the guy who says it around a girl, so the girl conveniently slaps the guy - and laugh.
and that's your "that's what she said!" tip of the day.

You Belong With Me

she did it again. taylor is amazing. i can't express how much i loved her new video. (HIT THAT HYPERLINK) it completely blew my mind - it's the best she's ever done. and i know i probably said something along the lines of that with her previous video, white horse, but this one is just incredible. it's fantastic. it's funny and cute and i don't know how many people can relate to this song. i was freaking out when i realized it premiered this morning and wasn't premiering tonight! she's awesome!
her love interest is lucas till from hannah montana: the movie. i know right!? he was perfect. (ooh, taylor has really good taste in guyssss :P) and if you actually pay attention, you can tell that taylor played both parts of the girls! she was the sweet, smart, underappreciated girl and also the stuck-up, cheerleader material one. sweet right?!
i love how they live right next to each other and pass notes. and i love how the exact same scenario could happen in real life. and i especially adore the note passing. and how she takes off her glasses to go to prom and just completely dazzles him! (ooh, twilight reference. new moon out in november!)

Breaking Love

in english we were assigned a "10 line poem" where we had 10 books and opened randomly to a page in the book and copied from any beginning of a sentence until we reached the end of the line on our paper. then we used these words to make a poem... but we could only add one word and we could only use the words copied down. thankfully, we could change the tense and endings... not that that made it any easier. this sucks. soo much. it's not like what i'm used to writing, i don't feel free enough. it's like i'm forced to write something that sounsd good with boring, empty words.
