never want to do that again. apparently on the off chance, i was the one who got zapped with a cavity because in every one of your mouths is this one tooth that has an indent so deep that no matter how hard you brush it's nearly impossible to get any type of food that's stuck in there, out - so says my dentist :). it was an off chance. i got unlucky (for once, haha).
so yeah, a every-six-month dentist trip doubled into a four-days-following-september-25 dentist trip. and something i thought would take a half hour max turned into some crazy one hour and 15 minute appointment where i just lay there watching the little mermaid and sponge bob while i had cotton balls stuck in my cheek, under my tongue, and in the back of my mouth. oh, and did i mention this weird tool thing they stuck in between my teeth and had me bite down gently to hold my mouth open? and other things they used to drill a hole in my tooth, then fill it up with this icy (i think it was icy, sort of when some thing's so cold it's almost warm) stuff that stings. i must've winced a million times, but i was wearing sun glasses (they had me put it on so that i wasn't blinded by the light when i watched tv) so nobody could tell. o.O moment.
but still, that wasn't the worst part. i could stand the whole thing, but the one thing that i really hated was something they did at the very beginning. it tasted so bad! i think it was acid-y or whatever, but it was all bitter and you know how when you're at the dentist and you open your mouth and all this spit (i hate the world saliva) collects in your mouth and you have to swallow, only it's hard to when you're mouth's held open? but then after a while you learn how to do it, like after a few trips. or like ten. anyway, i know how to do it without closing my mouth (although it's kind of confusing... haha) but when i swallow i also taste a bunch of that disgusting-tasting stuff they put on my tooth. now that i think about it, i think it was probably the numbing stuff... but i thought that was supposed to taste good, like cotton candy or whatever.
i also had sealant to protect my teeth, from what, i don't know really, and don't care so much. it's just toothpaste, brush, rinse, floss, rinse three times a day... there's nothing much to say about the sealant actually. i didn't even know they put it on until i asked and my dad told me after when we were back in the car. so... that didn't hurt since i didn't know they were doing it, so yeah.
the numbing stuff was crazy. it made my mouth feel so weird, because they had the cotton balls in then the numbing stuff, and when they took the cotton out it felt like they were still in. it drove me insane, i hated it so much.
at least i don't have to get braces, XD.
so yeah. and... i was going to post way earlier, about this cold i got that made me lose my voice, that came from like my whole jy group, starting with one person and just kept traveling down. i gave it to my counselor ^-^, and that's pretty much it. it was a friday-sunday thing, that's all. i guess i never really "got around to it". if i did post... well, i didn't, so whatever i guess.
since the last time i blogged, i've used the "the thing about friendship..." blog about a million times. one of my favorite blogs, besides the one about saying goodbye to summer.
school's great i guess, really boring. hate getting up at 6am or even 7am, which is freaking late, since i have to be out of the house around 7:10am-7:15am, but i manage.
i always do.
oh, and one more thing before i close... thanks again, ben, for you know... you're the main reason why i decided i really had to blog now!
love you all!
