then global warming hit and everything was changed drastically in my ice cream flavored world.
haha. just kidding. (global warming's changing the enviornment drastically, though. so don't forget that. oh, and did you know only about a sixth of an ice berg sticks out? freaking sweet!)
i was home schooled up until second grade, so that's why i had vanilla vanilla vanilla ice cream. my dad was the one who bought all the ice cream and scooped all the ice cream (until i was maybe six. then i started scooping my own ice cream and gave myself extra, XD), but then i started public school and wha-la! jennifer's ice cream world's flavors expanded by a bazillion. :)! and rocky road is the best!
another interesting fact you might want to know: like the vanilla being the only flavor i'd tasted until age eight, the only music i listened to - besides the hymns at church and the chinese hymns on tapes all over the house - was classical music, in the car on the radio. why? my dad was the one driving and he always turned on the radio. my brother and i? we didn't really care, what else were we supposed to listen to, or wanted to listen to? oh, some chinese folk tale? nah, not so much.
so again, until second grade we ate only vanilla ice cream and listened to only classical music (KING 98.1fm) in the car. ha, were we "deprived of a normal childhood"? not really. or yes, until age eight. it wasn't so bad, i still answered vanilla as my favorite ice cream up until maybe... fifth grade? yeah i know, seriously. why? 'cause after vanilla came strawberry and chocolate! standard flavors, standard answers.
i actually didn't really mind it. oh, did i mention we also had the whole mix of it? neapolitan ice cream! yes, seriously. but like i said, i didn't care too much. vanilla ice cream is still one of my top five favorites (who can't love it, truthfully?) and strawberry and chocolate are still... hmm, actually higher on the list than vanilla oreo ice cream!
but did i mention i tune myself out whenever classical music comes on? seriously, i can't hear it!
<3 you all, have a scoop of that rocky road for me, i can't have any more tonight! ;)!
