More on Happy Halloween

urgh. so the happy halloween - wonderfuly hyperlinked for your use - post was supposed to be at 12am october 31, HALLOWEEN, but... blogger doesn't exactly follow my laptop's time. it's just a few seconds off. dot, dot, dot.
but anyway. so i have to practice piano earlier today 'cause we have to get the lights off and pretend we're not home while we eat dinner, 'cause according to my dad, "it gets dark at 6:40pm". cough, cough. okay, dad... so then right after dinner we sneak out the house to church - XD - and anyone who sees us will think we're going trick or treating, which isn't good, but at least they won't know we're actually home, because we won't be! haha.
every year we stay inside, put a coat or something, strategically hung in front of the window on the door. turn off all the lights, and yeah, there you have it... we hide! when i was younger my brother and i wore our winter coats, pretended we were bats and built a fort. yeah, really.
i don't do that anymore. haha.
halloween dance/first dance... didn't go! nobody really went. nobody i really knew went, anyway. and it was just free pizza and soda and candy... yeah i know, "omigosh free food!" you needed your ASB/ID card to get in, and one kid didn't have it, so he waited for his mom to bring it to him. you also needed a signed permission slip. one kid forged his dad's signature. so yeah, there you have it. i wonder how it went. all black and orange. apparently the kids stand in a circle and jump. and sort of dance, and hang out and hug and chase each other around, oh and of course... eat the free food. hello? FREE FOOD why don't you take advantage of it?
i gave out a few hugs myself, yay!
so yep that's pretty much it for halloween. i saw a little girl at my brother's school/my elementary school wearing this little pumpkin costume, she was so cute. and there was this third grader from my third/fourth grade class wearing this mask that when you pushed this pump or whatever, fake blood came down from the top of the plastic enclosing mask. it was freaky at first, but then it was cool.
a friend of mine was a bar of soap/cheese/whatever you wanted him to be. it was just a cardboard box with three holes cut out for the head and arms. haha, yay.
some people wore the same costume again. others didn't wear a costume. there were no m&m's this year at the party! that sucks! i love m&m's! ooh, i got ghost dots, though. :) me.
smiley me, happy me, *happy dance*.
that's a jennifer phrase, DON'T STEAL IT!
haha love you guys, happies halloweens, ttyls!

=/ You sound a little high. Too much candy, perhaps?
