The Best Thing About Music

the best thing about music... hmm, this made me think. i love music, i listen to music every day - haha, meaning i listen to taylor swift everyday! - and i dance to it and sing to it. i fall asleep to it. i listen to it for hours until the music player freezes 'cause it's low on battery. in theory, music... is my life!
believe it or not, i actually like country. i almost love country music. i love taylor swift and her music, and in a sense, she sings country. and i listen to her all the time. ooh, and fyi - her new album fearless is coming out november 11! <3
music kind of makes you fall into it and just float while it's playing. in particular, taylor's single fearless (from the new album, if you didn't notice XD) makes me happy. i listen to it when i'm mad. i love singing to it. i love dancing to it. i love listening to it so late that none of the other songs work because the battery is almost dead, and then i turn it off and go to sleep. it plays in my dreams.
music is always there for you. i like listening to more peaceful, sweet, calm music rather than rock, but i do listen to rock. linkin park is the best, and maroon5, skillet... is music racist? sexist? sometimes, but not all the time. you choose what you listen to. you hate it, you block it out. you put your hands over your ears and scream when you hate the lyrics, the beat, the song in general. you turn it up so loud that the neighbor runs over complaining when you love it.
i'm listening to fearless right now. i'm smiling, i love the song so much.
you hide your mp3 or iPod in your jeans pocket, and then the headphones under your hood and nobody ever sees it, but they can hear the faint music playing because you have it up so loud. they don't know who it's from, and they don't know the song, but they dance to it anyway.
see... you take your faded pair of jeans, a hood, your iPod, and the rain and put them all together, and you get... magic.
try it, you'll see i'm serious.
and yes, i do sing in the shower.
