in health/fitness... oh, and btw, it's different from p.e., because in p.e., you don't get homework, and health/fitness is required for one semester unless in 9th grade, which if you skip then, you take it full year in high school. anyway... our first big project - *waits for imaginary applause to die down* - is 101 WAYS TO A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. you pick an interest/hobby, to "personalize" your project. i love cookies and baking and etc. mine? 101 CHOCOLATE CHIPS TO A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. heck yeah, it's cool =P.
so here i go... i have my sharpies, pens, other writing utensils, huge sharp scissors (XD), elmer's glue (what kind of name is elmer's...??!) - ooh may i mention, it's school glue? i know! awesome right??! haha. -, aluminum foil (yes, really), wax paper (even more yes really!), and two sheets of this huge year calendar you get at 99 ranch (hehe) for free ('cause my parents would never buy a big gigantic poster-paper calendar at 99 ranch, or any place, unless it's free, then they're not buying it, they're just taking it!).
what i'm going to do? i have ten - really eleven, for the 101th way to a healthy lifestyle i mean chocolate chip - categories, so that equals ten hershey kisses! yay, i'm happy too! and then the wax paper is like, that paper thing inside the wrapping over the chocolate that reads hershey's or kiss or something like that. the valentine ones get even more detailed, ahha.
i need a finer-point sharpiee! arrgh! i don't know how to get the typing text onto the wax paper for the flying thing... ugh.
the two sheets of calendar get pasted together with the white facing out and the calendar part glued shut so you can't see it! smart, right? we use that stuff for covering up the window on our door during halloween. nobody comes to our house anymore, unless they go... "hey! why aren't they opening the door? i see a light!" but haha.
i glue the stuff all on the calendars, yay. and the title is the easiest, i just print that. the problem is, the calendar is sturdy but glossy, so very glossy. the kind of glossy it's hard to write on because it doesn't dry and just smudges. but that's okay! i'll work it out.
back to the project, will keep you posted...
you know... it's kind of hard to do this when the only opinion i get is from my 10-year-old brother, who hardly pays attention. he's like, "that's a pear. see the stem?" i'm like, "uhh... stupid, no. does it even resemble a chocolate AT ALL?" he says, "add more color." and then i try the aluminum foil and he goes, "ooh, yes." -.-... little kids...
i'm the kind of girl who if she messes up, fixes it. by throwing it away and starting again. haha just kiddin, sometimes i do, but i usually make do 'cause i'm smart like that.
next post... example of my hershey's chocolate kiss? i wish i could actually eat a kiss right now.
