My CBA All Nighter

not really. hopefully i won't be up for the whole night... i was counting on my getting this done by 1, but it doesn't seem to be happening any time soon. i'm on paragraph 5 out of 8 and i'm stumped. there seem to be no personal stories from chinese immigrants in the pacific northwest.
i had no idea we were supposed to have this typed up by tomorrow until today - "cba" stands for classroom based assessment, so i thought we were going to have a ton of class time to finish this. wasl week number two - finished last part of the writing wasl today; finally done with it all - so the schedule was weird. and boniface didn't schedule enough time in the library/computer lab... we only had one day which was yesterday, and then it's due tomorrow. we didn't even go today.
so i'm going to be stuck here forever, typing and typing and typing.
i'm replaying "butterfly fly away" by miley cyrus (hannah montana: the movie original soundtrack) because it's soft, not too slow, and doesn't make my head spin. if i listen to "shake it" or "hero/heroine" or even "love story", my brain will explode. i'm just not up to it now. but hit the link - you'll see why i keep replaying this song. it makes me want to cry.
tabs i have open right now: historylink, noodlebib, chinese immigration, chinese americans, njhlibrary, white river valley museum, facebook, hotmail, thesaurus.com, chinese immigrants, dictionary.com, and blogger.
well, back to essay writing... butterfly fly away helps me think. when it plays, i write.
thank you for being my distraction for a few minutes.
xoxo, jennifer
