took 2 years to get popular, versus myspace... which took... 6, surprisingly enough. logically, i didn't see how that could work out until i actually started using it, and just this week i thought about it again and decided to share with you - seeing as i also need to blog again, anyway.
yes, i put screen shots of my status updates in my friday the 13th and valentine's day posts. actually facebook was designed for people to find their old high school friends, but seeing as i'm not in high school or have been - it's definitely not just contained for those over the hill people. you actually need to be 13 to sign up, not that half of my friends are or have followed that rule. they just put in a random year that says they're 16 or what not, and hit sign up, and wha la - they have a facebook.
sometimes the chat drives me crazy, but they have an emailish type of communication too. i think what made it so popular is all the activities you can do and games and flair (i'll screen shot one some time) - which are one of my favorites.
but anyway... facebook gets its own entry because... it's my life for break. i have absolutely no homework and sadly i think homework is a way too big part of my life, seeing as i get home, get upstairs, and start on this one. then the next one, and again and again. sometimes i'm up until 1am finishing homework. and now that i don't have any i'm pretty much at lost for what to do.
main point? if you ever need me, you can check facebook. i'm on that almost 24/7 (hahaha, yeah. sure.) - or my email, that works too. or IM. or anything social for that matter.
i like to multitask.
... but hey, it's a great day out... maybe i'll go bike riding. see ya, facebook.
