Makes My Day

don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
- dr. seuss

it makes me really, really, happy. like, the smile-and-get-all-dreamy kind. like when i listen to taylor swift songs (such as right now, the way i loved you).
it's probably more appropriate for the funny, gray-haired author-of-all-those-children-books-that-i-have-stacks-of's (not in my room. but i am seriously considering it. it just seems like something i would do) birthday. but i'm not exactly sure when it is and i really like this quote right now so here it is. and the whole birthday comment makes me want to tell you that my friend's birthday is my half-birthday. i know, woah, cool much?!
yes, i haven't posted like, at all. and i really didn't post that much in january, either. what, like two entries? on the bright side i've actually gotten sleep for the past two weeks. except yesterday i broke my streak due to an assigned bacteria (e. coli) comic in science, due today. but it's all good.
i got my best friend (the one who gave me the santa hat <3) carnival ride from carrie underwood for her birthday, which was this sunday. she loved it. which made me happy, too. on facebook i wrote a 25 things note and tagged a bunch of friends. i also spent all evening last night finding and sending and adding flairs (you know, those round buttons with sayings or whatever on them that you can pin anywhere, only it's on the internet, and it's this round "button" with sayings on it that's like, 2D. hahah). lately i've been really, really pissed at this one girl who just gets on my very last nerve.
the superbowl! it was sad. like, really, sad. the cardinals did great. i commented on jesse (jamie's brother ((jamie is the one whose birthday is my half-birthday))) asking him why he calls the steelers pittsburgh, while i found myself calling the cardinals, arizona. :)
my friends and i have revived a pass-it-on journal that we started in 2006, now minus one person, since we never see her anymore. we are also planning a mass sleepover on the 14th. maybe.
my brother wants to goes to this one guy's house so bad that he used the "project excuse", which goes somewhat like this... "hey dad i'm going to do my science fair project at bacho's house, 'kay? what about the 14th?". btw, bacho is nathan's nickname. and then i say that the 14th we have that recital then i have the whole saturday meeting which has the activity this month of a "talent show" at a nursing home, basically meaning more piano playing. then i also add in the sleepover and that, he could go while i'm at the saturday meeting.
yeah that's pretty much what happened over the past month. well that's pretty much what happened in the first 3 days of this month. sorry i didn't blog... was meaning to. seriously. oh, and...
i had cookies and milk today.

love, jennifer

p.s. i just figured out that an entry this long is half a page on a word document. hehe.
